Explanation about neon gas 
Neon is a chemical element with symbol Ne and atomic number 10.It is a noble gas. Neon is a colourless, odourless, inert monatomic gas under standard conditions,  with about two-third the density of air. Neon gas consists of single atoms,  what mass of neon contain 6.022 × 10 power 23.
 
Does Neon gas sink in kerosene if yes/ not ,then why?
No, Neon gas can not sink in kerosene because Neon is in its gaseous state and kerosene is in its liquid state and gases can not sink in liquid but soluble in it.
Why Neon is called as noble or inert gas?
Neon is called as inert or noble gas because it unable to react with the other gases to form compounds.
Example: Helium, Argon, Krypton, Xenon and Radon.
 What are the uses of the neon gas?
There are many uses from the the neon gas.Some of them are:
1. Neon is used in Helium neon lasers, television tubes and wave tubes.
2. It's also used in lightening arresters.
3. This is used to to Shield electrical equipment from lightening.
4. Neon discharge electricity at regular voltages and currents.
5. Neon gas discharge is used in neon glow lamps, fluorescent lamps and other lightening systems. 
 How does a neon tube work?
A neon tube consists of a glass filled with a small amount ( low pressure ) of neon gas. Neon is used because it is one of the noble gases. One characteristic of these element is that each atoms has a filled electron shell, so the atoms do not react with  other atoms and it takes a lot of energy to remove an electron. There is an electrode at either end of the tube. A Neon light actually works using either AC (alternating current) or DC (direct current), but if DC current is used, the glow is only seen around one electrode. AC current is used for most neons lights you see.
